A new technology that is being offered to our patients is LADARVISION® CUSTOMCORNEA®. A device produces light waves that are passed into the eye. As the lightwaves travel through eye's optical system, the pattern of the lightwaves are reflected and exit the eye. The exiting lightwave pattern is then mapped. This pattern is then compared to a pattern of perfectly reflected light waves, as would be seen in a perfect optical system.
