Adult neurosurgery is the diagnostic, operative and postoperative surgical care of patients with neurologic disorders amenable to surgical intervention. These may include developmental, inflammatory, neoplastic or traumatic conditions. The diagnosis and treatment of brain abnormalities including brain tumors (acoustic neuroma, pituitary tumor, meningioma, glioma); blood vessel abnormalities (AVM, aneurysm); and spinal problems (Cervical and Lumbar spine disc disease) are problems that he routinely encounters and treats. He sees patients with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus, treats Tumor patients with Radiosurgery (Cyberknife), and performs Carpal tunnel and Ulnar nerve surgeries.
Additionally, Dr. Clark has had subspecialized training in pediatric neurosurgery. This includes the treatment of patients from the fetus through the teen years. Pediatric neurosurgical problems often are present for life. Dr. Clark has a special and longstanding relationship with his patients.
Neurosurgical problems are best treated by a competent, caring, compassionate physician such as Lawrence Clark, MD who has a history of life-long commitment to his patients.
