Riverside Medical Clinic’s Sports Medicine Program provides professional, student, amateur and recreational athletes a wide range of expertise and services for sports injury and performance concerns and conditions. We offer a multidisciplinary approach to sports-related injuries.
We understand your desire to get back into the game and will do everything we can to make that happen safely. Because of their dynamic nature, sports injuries require specialized methods of treatment. So whether you’re a weekend warrior or a high school, college, or professional athlete, if you suffer an injury, you need to see a physician with the highest level of expertise. Regardless of the injury or level of competition, Riverside Medical Clinic’s Sports Medicine team’s training and experience is focused on a single goal: getting you back in the game.
Sports medicine doctors have special training to restore function to injured patients so they can get moving again as soon as possible. They are also knowledgeable about preventing illness and injury in active people. In addition to completing medical school and a residency program these physicians complete a Sports Medicine Fellowship which enables them to provide the best quality care.
Riverside Medical Clinic’s Sport Medicine Team uses advanced imaging technologies to ensure patients can receive the most appropriate diagnostic evaluations and treatments. Our sports medicine doctors diagnose athletic injuries based on comprehensive physical exams and imaging, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), CT scan and X-rays.
We offer a wide range of treatment options, from non-operative care and in-office procedures for minor conditions and fractures to the latest surgical procedures for more complex sports-related injuries and disorders. After an examination with one of our sports medicine specialists, we’ll be able to determine the best course of action.
